Forward-Facing Child Restraints Reduce the Risk of Injury by 80%

Forward-facing child restraints reduce the risk of serious injury by almost 80% compared with children restrained only by seat-belts. Children in booster seats, generally ages 4 to 10, have a their risk of being injured in a crash reduced by 77%, compared with unrestrained children.
