FCDO

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) is a department of the Government of the United Kingdom. Equivalent to other countries’ ministries of foreign affairs, it was created on 2 September 2020 through the merger of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the Department for International Development.

Improved road safety is fundamental to achieving development goals. FCDO provides support to organizations around the world taking action on road safety, including the Global Road Safety Partnership and its partners, to improve road safety, which not only reduces the number of road related injuries and fatalities, but supports FCDO’s commitment to broader reaching development outcomes in low to middle income countries.
