Increasing speed limits increases road trauma

The outcome of increased speed limits in New Zealand will be far greater numbers needlessly killed and seriously injured in preventable crashes. To implement policies that directly contradict ‘safe system’ principles undermines ongoing commitments to UN Political Declarations and Resolutions that were unanimously agreed at the UN General Assembly.

Well done to Mava Moayyed & TVNZ for highlighting this critical issue.
