“Appearances are deceptive”, points out the Mayor of Stuttgart, Dr. Wolfgang Schuster. Although our roads and vehicles are much safer today than 100 years ago, there is still much more work to be done, he explains. Yet by bringing key road safety stakeholders together – including the Global Road Safety Partnership and Michelin – at the upcoming sixth World Congress of Cities for Mobility in Stuttgart, Germany, efforts to tackle the crisis remain strong.

“We look forward to participating in this exciting event”, stated Pieter Venter, acting CEO of the Global Road Safety Partnership. “It is a great opportunity for road safety stakeholders in both the private and public sector to exchange and learn from one another, which is exactly what GRSP aims to develop globally”.
