GRSP 20th Anniversary
On June 12th, GRSP turned 20. It celebrated this important milestone by holding a conference that gathered members, parters and experts from international institutions, the business community and governments to reflect on the work that has been done to sustainably decrease the global burden of road deaths and injuries and to identify future opportunities for action.
The event was structured around two main sections. The fist was a series of interventions touching upon different aspects of road safety and sustainable mobility. The list of speakers included:

- Andrew Bradley, GRSP Chair and Head, Group Risk Services, Nestlé
- Jean Todt, United Nations Special Envoy for Road Safety and President of the FIA (Fédération Internationale de L’Automobile)
- Etienne Krug, Director, Department for Management of Noncommunicable Diseases, Disability, Violence and Injury Prevention, World Health Organization (WHO)
- Nicolas Simond, Planning Engineer, Department of Infrastructures, State of Geneva
- Antonio Avenoso, Executive Director of the European Transport Safety Council
- María Seguí Gómez, Special Advisor for Road Safety, FIA
The second part of the day gathered a group of experts that discussed the challenges faced by the road safety community in the past and looked at the opportunities for the future. This expert panel was moderated by Dr. Judy Fleiter, GRSP Global Manager and was composed by:
- Eva Moldovanyi, Grant Manager, Foundation Botnar
- Colonel Paolo Cestra, President of TISPOL, European Traffic Police Network
- Jean-Pierre Krause, Global Head of Risk Engineering, Zurich
- Dr. Nhan Tran, Coordinator, Unintentional Injury Prevention, World Health Organization (WHO)
- Jessica Truong, Vice President Programmes & Asia Pacific Region, Towards Zero Foundation
- Saul Billingsley, Executive Director, FIA Foundation
