Global Road Safety Leadership Course: Initiative Partners (GRSLC:IP)

The GRSLC:IP is an online course that is derived from the GRSLC and engages participants in a combination of online webinars and a comprehensive web learning platform. The course is delivered across a period of 3-4 weeks and includes:

  • Dedicated live webinars
  • A series of online learning modules
  • An active online forum for discussion, debate and coursework

The course webinars and online modules focus on the following topics:

  • Overview of the road safety problem
  • Introduction to risk factors of road traffic crashes, injuries and deaths
  • Evidence-based approaches to road safety
  • Road safety legislation
  • Policy advocacy

The course has been delivered simultaneously across different global regions.

Content is delivered by experts from GRSP and JHU-IIRU, as well as key partner organisations including:

  • World Health Organization
  • Towards Zero Foundation
  • World Bank Global Road Safety Facility
  • Global Designing Cities Initiative
  • World Resources Institute
  • Vital Strategies
  • Global Health Advocacy Incubator
