Search for new CEO for the Global Road Safety Partnership
The Global Road Safety Partnership today launched the process of finding a new Chief Executive for the organization after the current CEO, Andrew Pearce, decided not to renew his contract for a further term.
Interested candidates were invited to apply for this exciting post by filling an online application.
“After four years of an impressive engagement to lead the growth of our organization promoting Road Safety worldwide, we understand that Andrew is wishing to undertake another step of his career,” said Patrick Lepercq, Executive Chair of the Global Road Safety Partnership.
“We have achieved a lot over the past years,” said Pearce addressing his global team. “In addition to having proved that a combination of multi-sector partnership and good practice road safety can work anywhere, we have moved from an organization that was predominantly European and male, to one that is gender balanced, multicultural, and is engaging young people.”
Pending the selection of a new CEO, Senior GRSP Advisor Dr. Pieter Venter has been requested to take up the position of Deputy CEO during the transition period.
“The key word during a transition is “stability”!” said Pearce urging his team to give their full support to the deputy CEO.
